Cataract surgery

  • The lens in the eye can become misty or cloudy (cataract).

  • Restorative surgery with intraocular lens implants.

Retina and macula

  • The light sensitive layer at the back of the eye is called the retina. The macula is the central retina, used for reading. The retina is a “photographic film” that may need sight saving diagnosis and therapy. Diagnoses include age related macula degeneration (AMD), retinal vein occlusions and diabetic retinopathy.

Glaucoma or Eye Pressure

  • Eye pressure can be associated with damage to the eye (optic) nerve. This is called glaucoma.

  • Medical treatments, laser treatments and monitoring are available.

General Eye Care

  • Dry or itchy eyes

  • Eyelid surgery (upper lid blepharoplasty) and eyelid lumps (stye, chalazion, periocular skin lesions)
